Gut feelings have a place and can't be ruled out, but who can argue with data? If your GameGrade Leaderboard shows Jeff is your best chance of advancing a runner, don't you have to consider pinch-hitting with Jeff?

Why is Jimmy batting 7th when he has the 4th best batting average on the team? Is it because that's where the data shows he should be hitting? And, if that's the best place for Jimmy....why? Is it because he does a good job of moving runners at the bottom of the order? Does he give the bottom of the order a run threat?
